Welcome to Finca Besada, our estate vineyard at 3100 Cellars. Located just minutes from downtown Eagle, Idaho, in the Eagle Foothills American Viticultural Area, our vineyard is a perfect sanctuary for wine lovers and nature enthusiasts alike.
Finca Besada, meaning "kissed farm" in Spanish, is a ten-acre property that houses our winery, tasting room, and numerous wildlife and pollinator habitats. We began planting our vines in 2017. Before becoming part of 3100 Cellars, the land was used as a local dump, leaving behind an array of hidden treasures. Our team has carefully transformed this site into a vibrant vineyard teeming with wildlife, native plants, pollinators, and the delicious grapes that make their way from vine to table.
A tasting at 3100 Cellars Estate Vineyard goes beyond just sampling wine. We strive to educate our community about our ecosystem and how our region is perfect for making sparkling wines. We are committed to sustainable farming practices, protecting habitats, and being as gentle as possible on our ecosystem.
Through the practice of cover crops, pollination plants, organic farming methods, and native plant cultivation, we’ve created a haven for pollinators that help our vines and grapes grow healthy and strong. This vibrant ecosystem has also attracted a variety of wildlife, making a visit to our vineyard a unique experience. During your tasting, you might spot turkeys, pheasants, rabbits, and deer roaming our property.
Additionally, we are proud to be LIVE certified, which stands for Low Input Viticulture and Enology. We were the first winery in Idaho to achieve this certification, and shortly after, our estate vineyard received certification as well, allowing us to carry the certification throughout both our vineyard and winery operations.
Sustainability is at the forefront of what we do, and we are continually working to make thoughtful choices that support the health of our vines, our land, and our environment.
Within our ten-acre property, five acres are currently dedicated to thriving vines, with plans to expand across the entire estate. We are currently growing Chardonnay, Syrah, and Malvasia Bianca. In 2025, we released our first estate vineyard wines: Pick a Line, a sparkling Syrah Rosé, and The Launch, a sparkling Chardonnay. In 2026, we introduced our first estate-grown Malvasia Bianca, Downstream Oar - a particularly meaningful milestone, as our vineyard is the first and currently the only one in Idaho cultivating this unique varietal.
